Glossary / Permission marketing

What is Permission marketing?

Permission marketing means only reaching people who agreed to hear from you. Attention is earned and can be withdrawn, so you spend it carefully.

The old model interrupted: buy the ad, buy the list, shout at everyone. Permission marketing flips it. People raise a hand first, and the marketing arrives as something they chose to receive.

The consequence is that every message spends a little of a limited budget. Send something worth reading and the balance grows. Send filler and it drains, quietly, until people stop opening.

In practice it looks like clear signup promises, easy unsubscribes, and sending less than you technically could. A list of 800 people who want your email beats 8,000 who tolerate it.

In Creaiter

Creaiter's segmentation lets you send a message to the people it actually applies to, instead of spending everyone's attention at once.
