Glossary / Omnichannel marketing
What is Omnichannel marketing?
Omnichannel marketing means every channel a customer touches works as one continuous experience rather than as separate campaigns.
Multichannel means being present in several places. Omnichannel means those places know about each other: the email reflects what they browsed, the ad stops after they buy, support knows what they were sent.
The difference a customer notices is the absence of friction. They are not asked the same question twice and not sold something they already own.
For a small team the honest version is modest: one contact record, one place that knows what was sent, and rules that stop a channel contradicting another. That is achievable and delivers most of the benefit.
In Creaiter
Creaiter runs email, social, SMS and web publishing off one contact list and one calendar, which is what stops channels contradicting each other.
