Glossary / Content distribution

What is Content distribution?

Content distribution is how you get a finished piece in front of people. Publishing is not distributing, and most content fails at this step.

Writing the piece is only part of the job. The rest is email, social, communities, newsletters, partners, and paid promotion. A great post with no distribution reaches the people who were going to find you anyway.

A simple plan helps. When it goes live, send it to your list, cut three or four social posts out of it, and pick one place your audience already gathers. Repeat over the following weeks instead of posting once and moving on.

Track where readers actually come from. If social sends nothing and email sends everything, stop splitting the effort evenly.

In Creaiter

Creaiter can turn one published piece into social posts and a newsletter from the repository, then schedule them.
