Glossary / Title tag
What is Title tag?
The title tag is your page's clickable headline in search results and its browser tab label. It matters for both rankings and clicks.
Every page has a title tag in its code. Search engines use it to understand the page and display it as the blue link in results. It is often the first thing a potential visitor reads from you.
Keep it around 50 to 60 characters so it does not get cut off. Put the main keyword near the front and make it a reason to click, not just a label. 'Water heater repair in Austin, same-day service' beats 'Services'.
Give every page a unique title. Duplicates confuse search engines and waste chances to match different searches.
