Glossary / Lead generation
What is Lead generation?
Lead generation is turning strangers into people you can contact, usually by trading something useful for an email address or a booked call.
A lead is a person who raised a hand. They downloaded the guide, asked for a quote, or booked a call. Traffic that never identifies itself is not a lead, however large the number looks.
The pieces are the same everywhere. Something worth wanting, a page that explains it plainly, a short form, and a follow-up that arrives before they forget you. Weak follow-up wastes more leads than weak traffic does.
Quality beats volume. A hundred leads who cannot afford you cost your team more time than ten who can. Track which sources turn into customers, not just which produce the most sign-ups.
In Creaiter
Creaiter drafts the offer, the page copy, and the follow-up email in one voice, then tracks how the pieces perform.
