Glossary / Prompt engineering
What is Prompt engineering?
Prompt engineering is the practice of writing instructions that get useful, repeatable output from an AI model.
A prompt is the instruction you give a model. Prompt engineering is the unglamorous craft of making that instruction specific enough to produce something you can actually use twice.
Most of the gain comes from context rather than clever phrasing. Who the audience is, what the piece is for, which words you use and refuse to use, and an example of output you would be happy with. Without those a model gives you the average of everyone's answer.
The other half is constraint. Say the format, the length and the perspective. Vague instructions produce vague copy, and the vagueness usually came from the brief rather than the model.
In Creaiter
Creaiter holds your brand voice, audience and goals as standing context, so you ask in plain language instead of rebuilding the prompt each time.
