Glossary / AI agent

What is AI agent?

An AI agent is a system that can take actions on your behalf, not just produce text: calling tools, running steps and reacting to the result.

A chatbot answers. An agent does. The difference is the ability to invoke tools, so it can look something up, write a draft, schedule a send and then read the result, rather than handing you a paragraph and stopping.

In marketing that means the unit of work changes. Instead of asking for a blog post and doing the rest yourself, you describe the outcome and the agent runs the steps, coming back where a decision genuinely needs a person.

The honest limit is judgement. Agents are good at sequences with a clear right answer and poor at deciding whether an idea is any good, which is why the useful ones stop and ask before anything irreversible.

In Creaiter

Creaiter is built this way: one conversation invokes the tools across content, campaigns, audience and analytics, and asks before it sends.
