Glossary / E-E-A-T

What is E-E-A-T?

E-E-A-T stands for experience, expertise, authoritativeness and trust: the qualities Google's human raters are told to look for in content.

It comes from the guidelines Google gives the people who rate search results, and it is a description of what good looks like rather than a score attached to your site. Nobody is computing your E-E-A-T.

Experience was added most recently and is the most useful of the four: having actually done the thing, not just knowing about it. It is also the part a model with no access to your life cannot manufacture.

Google says trust is the most important member, and the others exist to support it. That means clear ownership, honest pricing, visible policies and corrections matter as much as the credentials on a byline.

The bar is highest on topics where bad advice does real damage, which Google calls Your Money or Your Life: health, finance, safety and legal.

In Creaiter

Creaiter drafts from your material and leaves the first-hand parts to you, which is the half of E-E-A-T no tool can supply.
